ELC Family Newsletter
November 2022
Updates from Mrs. Porter
Greetings ELC Families,
We have officially completed our first quarter of the school year and are moving right along in quarter two. We want to thank you all for partnering with us in your child's education. We are so excited to share that we had 98% attendance at our fall conferences! Our Halloween parade and classroom parties were also well attended and we topped off an excellent October with a beautiful Saturday for our Trunk-or-Treat event.
If you have a child that is enrolled in our PK4 class, they are at the appropriate age to enter Kindergarten next school year. Please complete the 2023-24 Kindergarten Information Form below as this will help with district-wide planning for next school year. Please share this form with others residing in the Basehor-Linwood School District who have children that will be age 5 on or before August 31, 2023.
Thank you to each of you for sharing your child with us during the most important years of their development. We appreciate the continued support as we strive to offer the best early childhood experience for your child(ren).

PK3 - Learning Corner
Dear Families,
Three-year-olds are learning to do many things independently. It is important that we begin to establish safe and healthy routines that they will maintain throughout their lives. Beginning next week, we will be talking about safety rules to help children as they make their own choices, practices that will help them stay healthy, and information about food and exercise to keep their bodies growing and strong.
