How you are positioned is important when you are working. You should always adjust your seat to wear it is comfortable for you. It is important because you can avoid getting a risk of injury.
Typing aplies to Ergonomics as well.

Lifting
When lifting you should bend over like the man on the left. Instead do it like the guy on the right to avoid pain in your back.
OSHA
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is an agency of the United States Department of Labor. President Richard M. Nixon signed into law on December 29, 1970. OSHA's mission is to "assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance".
