Summer Vibes, GOOD Vibes
at LI KULA YOGA
Welcoming the NEW...
After a LONG, LONG, LONGGGGGG Winter, it is so nice to see barefeet and well, the grass again:-)
We kicked off Memorial Day Weekend nicely by welcoming back our Summer students and as always it is so amazing to be with those of you who stuck it out with us this winter.
As the days get longer and warmer, the sweet essence of Summer's offerings is in the air. As we take off those layers (figuratively & literally;-) may we take this time to explore, learn more about ourselves and embrace a whole new appreciation for everything around us. Can we pause and see the gift in ALL of our experiences? Could we go further and look beyond the challenges and difficulties to discover or realize that every single thing we experience is just a sweet offering, waiting to be acknowledged?
This Summer we invite you to explore and as always we welcome you with open arms and hearts. As we collectively move forward into another season and chapter of our lives, please check out what's headed your way this Summer and may we all embrace the changes ahead with our hearts as open and as free, as the sea.
With Peace, Love & Mermaid Blessings,

Updates & Cha...Cha...Changes:
We have some important announcements regarding new teachers coming your way as well as some changes regarding our teaching staff.
Many of you know Danielle (Sannito) as a permanent fixture at LI Kula Yoga. She has been a very loving, supportive and caring presence at our center; since the day we opened. Well, as we open our hearts to changes & the" NEW" in our lives, this June, our beloved Danielle will be heading West to see the world and broaden her horizons. Although we dislike the idea of losing Danielle at LI Kula Yoga, we are happy for her as she embarks on her New journey & New life. Danielle has guided many students at LI Kula Yoga and has been a tremendous help and asset to our center. She will be missed greatly, but we wish her well.
Happy Trails Danielle!!
*Danielle's last class at LI Kula will be on:
Monday, June 8th. Come see her this week and next Monday to send her off with light, luck & love.
With this change, comes more changes. Effective Thursday, 6/11 we welcome Heather Moline, LI Kula Yoga graduate on Thursday mornings for a NEW CLASS, Yoga Therapeutics/Gentle Yoga at 10am. Heather is a 200hr level Yoga Teacher, a Reiki Master and she also holds a Master's Degree in Psychology. Come on down and welcome Heather! She is a gifted healer and teacher with so much to offer.
Let's also welcome, new teacher Kris Vanderslice, former Bellportian & 200hr Forrest Inspired Vinyasa Yoga Teacher on Monday nights. Kris has a grounded and welcoming presence. She teaches a supportive, yet challenging class.
Come check out Kris' class and welcome her to the LI Kula Yoga family on Monday nights at 7pm *effective 6/15!
We also said goodbye to little Keri (Blackshaw) last month.
Keri is expecting her first child and went out on maternity leave in May to get some much needed rest before she becomes a full-time mommy. Congratulations Keri, wishing you so much love and many blessings as you enter your NEW Life!!
In closing, let's reflect on the words of Lao Tzu to embrace all the beautiful changes occurring in our lives,
"Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them-that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like."
Here's to New Beginnings....Cheers Kula!!
See you on your mat!
