- Notice words that start with blends and digraphs

First time: Enjoy the story! Talk about what made Stanley brave.
Second time: Listen closely for all the words with blends. Some examples:
- glow
- claws
- brave
- crashed
- swam
- sped
Also notice all the words that have digraph sh
- fish
- shivered
- shook
- shark
- jellyfish

Reading
Practice reading the words below by using the word detective chart. Tell someone in your family what strategy/strategies you used to solve the word.
For example:
