Partnering with the Principal

Stewardship is such a big part of November and fits well with Thanksgiving. I am thankful for the parents who serve on the School Advisory Council (SAC). The SAC meets monthly to provide their input into various matters of the school. I am thankful for the time, feedback and ideas that they share with Ms. Wenner and me related to a variety of topics.

Within the SAC, there are four standing committees. These committees are Marketing & Enrollment, Strategic Planning, Finance & Development, and Policy. Currently, each committee is working on a SWOT Analysis. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. As the SWOT's are completed, we will develop objectives and action steps to help us meet our goals.

The committees are open to others with experience in the areas mentioned. If you are interested in helping on the committees, please reach out to let us know of your desire to serve on a committee. The committees each meet at 4:00 p.m for one hour, once a month. Not a big commitment, but a big contribution to the success of the school. Thank you for your consideration.

THANK YOU!

Neighbors Inc. was so appreciative of your generosity for the food drive donations. Thank you for helping out the less fortunate with food for Thanksgiving and beyond.

Thank you in advance to the parents and middle school students who are planning to help with the attic clean out on Saturday. We are grateful for your assistance.

Parent Testimonial Requests

If you are willing to respond to a few questions and provide a testimonial for our future marketing efforts, please click here and respond to any of the prompts you wish. Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Educate Directory & Report Cards

All parents received a link early in the school year to access Educate. Within Educate, you are able to access an electronic school directory and you will use it to view your child's report card. If you don't have the link any longer, please contact the school office and we can resend your access link.

Watch the video on how to find the directory and to access report cards. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Bruce at lobruce@stjosephwsp.org.

SPIRIT WEAR DAYS

We are so grateful for the wonderful support from our St. Joseph's Community on our Give Day. While we did not meet our goal of $100,000, our school did a great job! To celebrate this, we will be having Spirit Wear Days every Wednesday for the rest of the school year.

Please note that Spirit Wear Days are not Out of Uniform days. Spirit Wear Days are intended for students to wear St. Joe's Spirit Wear and or clothing in our school colors, such as orange and black. If your child does not want to wear these items, they should wear their school uniform. If students come to school in other items, they will be asked to call home for a change of clothes.
