Water Bottle Filling Stations

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at school is working diligently to find grants and sponsors to assist in replacing four water fountains in the school with hygienic, energy efficient water bottle filling stations. Thus far, the PTO has generously received donations from St. Benedict VFW and Sheetz Corporation. The PTO is hoping to have all four water bottle filling stations fully funded and replaced by the start of the 2020-2021 school year for students to enjoy. If you would like to contribute, please contact the PTO.

Meet Officer Gibbons

CHES Chorus and Band Concert

The 5th Grade Band and 4th & 5th Chorus will have their Christmas Concert on December 12, 2019 at 6:00p.m. at Cambria Heights Elementary Gym. Come enjoy an evening of holiday entertainment!


Please have your children in the elementary school gym by 5:45. They are to report to the bleachers. A letter was sent home, regarding this concert. CHES Chorus & The Johnstown Tomahawks

Please mark your calendars, the Cambria Heights Elementary School Chorus is singing "The National Anthem" at the Johnstown Tomahawks Game on Friday, January 17th! More information will be coming soon.

CH Community Technology Survey

If you haven't already done so, please return the blue CHES Technology Survey as soon as possible. We are trying to get an understanding of the needs of our students. Thank you!

eSpark Learning

CHES has started a trial using eSpark Learning. This is an online supplemental program that provides individualized Math and Reading instruction and practice for our students. Please take the time to have your student log on to show you around and practice. Teachers have sent home login information for each student.

Tartan Tickets in the Community

We are looking to extend our SOAR to New Heights Program into the community. We want our students to understand that it is important to make good choices outside of school as well as inside school.


In order to accomplish this, we are looking for local businesses to participate in our SOAR to New Heights in the Community Program. WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR ANY MONEY! We are asking for your TIME to recognize Cambria Heights Elementary students with Tartan Tickets when they are making good choices in your place of business.


Please contact Mrs. Yahner at 814-344-8506 to show your interest in this program. Your business will be provided a letter with information, an "Earn Your Tartan Tickets Here" sign to put in your window, and pre-cut Tartan Tickets to start handing out immediately!


Please pass this information on to your favorite local business that you frequent!
