Global Warming
What Is It??
CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change is also known as “GLOBAL WARMING” and “the greenhouse effect”. Climate change refers to changes in the weather all over in the world. This is caused by artificial gases in the atmosphere.
THE EFFECTS INCLUDE
· Changes in rainfall patterns
· A rise in sea level
· Potential droughts
· Loss of habitat
· Heat stress
·
HEAT STRESS
Heat stress is a fact of life for majonity of the world. Indeed, cultures have been sharped by effects to avoid heat. A well know exapmple is the Medierranean siesta, which signals a work break during the hottest part of the day.
SEA LEVEL
The sea level rise is caused by two processes: thermal expansion and additional water flows into the oceans from ice that melts on land
DROUGHT
The most common form for drought is a lack of water vapor in the atomsphere, which is responsible of preication. a lack of moisture in the air causes wildfire that can damage communites and food supplise.
HOW TO STOP CLIMATE CHANGE
Driving a car, using electricity to light and heat your home, and throwing away garbage all lead to greenhouse gas emissions. You can reduce emissions through simple actions like changing a light bulb, powering down electronics, using less water, and recycling.
