A hard drive is where you can store all you data on a phone, tablet or computer. A hard drive has moving parts so if it gets damaged or turned upside down it loses all the data.
An SSD does the same thing as a hard drive but is faster, smaller, more expensive and has no moving parts
An optical drive
An optical drive lets you read or write data onto a disc. CD’s and DVD’s can only be read with an optical drive.
