Reflection

When I first began this class I thought media literacy only had to do with social media, but now I see it as broad term to describe the different ways society responds to and is affected by mass media, social media, advertising and everything else they see. This class made me realize how much people (including myself) are manipulated ad influenced by the things around them, even if they don't necessarily realize it. This class is different from my previous language arts because it wasn't your basic "read a book, analyze some quote and then take a test" type class, This was more of a hands on, interactive class that used examples and lessons from today's society that really made you open your eyes. One thing that could have been done differently would have been able do group projects instead of so many individual ones.
