Hello Grant families!
We are excited to to kick off our One School, One Book Campaign on Monday! Please be on the lookout for an email with more information.
We are also excited about our OPEN HOUSE NIGHT on Thursday, February 29th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM! We hope to see everyone there! Please see the flyer below for more information.
Next week is BOOK FAIR WEEK! Please click on this LINK for more information and to learn how to setup an E-WALLET for your child. The Book Fair will be open on Tuesday night from 4-6 PM and on Open House night.
Kindergarten Registration is now open for the 24-25 school year. If you have an incoming kindergartner or know someone who does, please see the information later in this newsletter about registration.

- Tuesday, February 27th - Book Fair Open from 4:00 - 6:00 PM
- Thursday, February 29th - OPEN HOUSE 5:00 - 7:00 PM (book fair open); Special Popcorn Day!
- Wednesday, March 13th - 2nd Grade Music Concert at North PAC at 6:00 PM; Marcos Pizza Night (3rd - 5th pizza box night)
- Wednesday, March 20th - Grant PTO Meeting at 6:30 PM in library
- Monday, March 25th - Monday, April 1st - NO SCHOOL - SPRING BREAK; School resumes April 2nd.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 24-25!
Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open. Children are eligible if they are five years old on or before August 1, 2024. If you register prior to June 1st, your child will receive a welcome gift from their school!

Kindergarten Registration 2024-2025 Flyer This flyer contains important information and phone numbers that will be helpful.
Please call your elementary school or the Central Registration office if you have questions, or if you need to make an appointment for help with documentation.
If your child currently attends the W-E Preschool, you do not need to register them. Please inform the preschool that your child will attend kindergarten in the district next year.
We look forward to welcoming our new kindergarten students and their families to the school district!
INNOVATION LAB NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Many of our classes made musical instruments in our last STEM Challenge and our supplies are running LOW! We are in need of the following donations:
- tissue boxes
- plastic containers from Play Dough, yogurt, or similar
- balloons 12" or more in diameter
- food boxes
- cardboard rolls from wrapping paper or similar

Please support the Grant Elementary Parent Teacher Organization! The PTO is a wonderful organization and it’s a great way to be involved in your child’s school experience. The PTO will usually meet at 6:30 PM on the second Wednesday of every month in the Grant Library. A welcome packet will be mailed home soon, so be on the lookout for more information. Every Grant Family is a welcome member of the PTO, so please plan on joining us!

Are you looking for activities for your children? Interested in family programs in the community? There are so many options for Willoughby-Eastlake families, such as city departments of recreation, sports teams, scouting, camps and special events in all of our surrounding communities, plus so much more!
Information from approved organizations who host activities for Willoughby-Eastlake youth and the community are posted electronically. Paper flyers from organizations are not sent home with students.
