What is Love?
Technical Definition: An intense feeling of deep affection.
Personal Definition: When two people know each others imperfections, accept them and still want to be together.
Infatuation
Technical Definetion: An intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone or something
Personal Definition: Thinking your significant other is absolutely perfect and they have no bad traits or imperfections.
“The world was collapsing, and the only thing that really mattered to me was that she was alive.”
This quote by Rick Riordan is about infatuation because it's saying that the only thing that matters in his life is his significant other.
¨Immature love says: 'I love you because I need you.' Mature love says 'I need you because I love you.¨
This quote by Erich Fromm really shows what love is because it's not saying they absolutely need this person in their life but they want them in their life.

This represents infatuation because the definition matches up the the real definition of infatuation.

This type of love displays real love because it has all the key elements that make a great, lasting relationship.

Two highschoolers start dating and in the first month automatically think each other are perfect for each other and are going to get married, even after only dating for a short period of time.
Love {Scenario}
Two young adults start a relationship and take it slow and wait that three months before telling any big secrets, stories, ect about themselves. They know that each other aren't perfect but they're willing to work out any problem that comes up.
