Human Papillomavirus
(HPV)
Don't be silly, wrap your willy!
Transmission:
The HPV virus is spread through sexual contact (vaginal, oral, or anal.) It is unlikely, but it can also be given from mother to child during birth.
Symptoms:
Most times HPV has no symptoms.
Some symptoms are warts that may itch, hurt, or feel uncomfortable, but they mostly don't.
Treatment:
No cure gets rid of HPV, but treatments lower the number of warts. Some treatments include medication, or getting rid of warts with laser therapy or chemical freezing.
Prevention:
You can prevent HPV by not having sex, using protection such as condoms, and getting an HPV vaccine.
