Read for the Record with SDSL

Join the South Dakota State Library and participate in Read for the Record Day!

Jumpstart's Read for the Record is October 27, 2022, and they are dreaming big with the special edition copy of Nigel and the Moon by Antwan Eady and illustrated by Gracey Zang. The South Dakota State Library is providing school and public librarians with a free copy of the English or Spanish version of the story to share with children across the state! Visit the SDSL website before September 17, 2022, to learn how to get your free copy.

Jumpstart’s Read for the Record brings together millions of adults and children around the world each year to read the same book on the same day to raise awareness about the critical importance of early literacy and access to high-quality books. Find more 2022 Read for the Record's Resources at jstart.org.

Join the conversation online using #readfortherecord in your social media posts and tagging @jumpstartkids as well.
