ST. JUDE PRAYER For LENT

St. Jude,

Walk with me this Lent.

Open my heart to the wisdom of God in His Word, and give me the strength to share that wisdom with others.

Through this time of reflection, may I arrive at Easter energized to celebrate Christ's Resurrection and more ready than ever to receive God's love.

Amen.

LENTEN INTENTIONS

Prayers of Supplication - Praying for and with each other!

During Lent, we would like to unite our school community by offering prayers for those in need as part of our morning announcements. For the weeks of Lent, please send prayer intentions to school with your child or contact your child's teacher. Prayer intentions will be added to a book by the office. New intentions will be read each day followed by an all school prayer.

A NOTE FROM Mrs. Longden

Who would have guessed that when we started this year, the #1 podcast in the nation on Apple would be a Catholic priest named Fr. Mike Schmitz reading Scripture in a podcast called "The Bible in a Year." In 20-minute episodes, Fr. Schmitz reads from Scripture and offers some brief reflections. His podcast beat out big names in news, entertainment, and self-help. It shows the power of the Holy Spirit working in our church and in the world today. As St. Augustine so profoundly stated, "You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you." If you'd like to join the millions of people listening to Fr. Schmitz, you can listen here for an online version or find the podcast on your favorite podcast app.

Thank you to those who have turned in your registration/tuition paperwork for next year! If you know of any families interested in more information about Holy Trinity please have them contact the school office. Thank you for all your help and support this year. This will definitely be a year to remember.

Blessings,

Mrs. Longden
