OGES 2018-2019 News Crew
Attention Fourth & Fifth Graders: We Need News Crew Members!
What is the OGES News Crew? What do News Crew members do?
News Crew members provide an important service to OGES as they keep our school community up-to-date on events and announcements in our school.
News Crew members are responsible for being part of a recorded broadcast each morning.
News Crew members must report to the media center promptly at 8:30 am.
If you choose to be a part of the News Crew, your responsibilities as a crew member will include:
Arriving to school at 8:30 am and reporting directly to the media center.
Notifying Mrs. Lungociu if you know you will be out of school so a substitute can be found.
Helping prepare, film, and report the news of the day.
Using a loud, clear voice when sharing news with the school.
Having fun but not being silly when sharing the news.
Notifying Mrs. Lungociu or another News Crew Staff Member if you need help or advice with your job.
Being a good role model for your peers as well as younger students at OGES
In addition you must:
Maintain a āCā average or higher in ALL areas.
Show ALL the pillars of character to adults, your peers, and yourself.
Not be a member of the Morning Hall Patrol (sorry but these jobs overlap).
