Arroyo Seco Jr. High School -- November 20, 2020
Hello Seco Families,
Happy Thanksgiving! There will be no school the week of Thanksgiving, November 23-27. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we encourage you to submit what you are grateful for on our virtual Kindness Wall (see below).
Free grab and go meals will be available for families of any child age 18 years and younger, this coming Monday and Tuesday, November 23 and 24, from 12 to 2. This includes a Thanksgiving Meal Kit on the 24th. Please note that meals will not be distributed the rest of the week. Meals are distributed by drive thru from Seco's parking lot and are also available from all Hart district comprehensive school sites, as well as our elementary schools.
Please note that December 2 and 9 will be asynchronous days. Students will have assignments posted in Google Classroom, but will not log into live sessions on Zoom or Google Meet. Teachers will be utilizing that time to plan and prepare for the spring semester and hybrid learning, when we are able to make that transition. Teachers will also have limited availability by email on those days. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to ensure your children the best educational experience possible. The last day of the 1st semester is Thursday, December 17.
Stay safe and well. We hope you are able to spend time with those you love over this coming Thanksgiving holiday. We are grateful to be part of the amazing Seco community. Thank you as always for all of your support and have a great weekend!
