"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? • Read today's Bible story in the book of Jonah chapters 1 and 3 and then watch the lesson from Mrs. Baron.
• Talk about lessons you have learned from disobedience.

• Jeremiah 7:23 - "But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

• Romans 5:19 -"For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous."

• Hebrews 13:17 - "Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you."

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and because He is steadfast, who we are in Him remains the same regardless of circumstances. These statements remind us whose we are and who we are Because of who Jesus is.
