Rise of Totalitarians Regimes
Totalitarianism is which a dictator had complete control over his country and people. A Dictator is a strong leader and that has total power of his country. Italy, Germany, and Soviet Union all had dictators as leaders of there countries during World War 2. Italy had Benito Mussolini as their leader. Germany had Adolf Hitler as their leader. The Soviet union had Joseph Stalin as their leader.
German U Boats in the Atlantic
This battle lasted from 1939 to 1945 when Germany was defeated. Germany has U boats and war ships along the Atlantic to try to stop the U.S. shipping lanes. The U.S. were shipping out equipment for there allies to use.
Cash and Carry Policy
They passed the cash and carry policy that way the U.S. could stay neutral during the European Conflicts. The U.S. let anybody by Weapons from them but they had to have cash on them and they had to be able to come get them. The U.S. would not deliver anything.
Lend-Lease Act of 1941
The Lend-Lease Act provided Military aid for Foreign countries. This act brought the U.S. closer to fighting in World War 2. This gave foreign countries more power.
Bombing of Pearl Harbor
The bombing of Pearl happened on December 7th, 1941. About 20 Vessels were destroyed by the Japanese. Over 300 attack planes were sent by the Japanese. More than 2,000 Americans were and 1,00 were wounded.
