Where and When It Originated

It developed out of Judaism in the first century CE.

It started in present day Israel then known as Judea.

It is founded on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Those who follow this religion are called Christians.

Christianity has many different branches and forms.

The major branches of Christianity are Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestant.
