The Latest News - March 18, 2016
Our room is looking a little different!
We are sprucing up our classroom library. The kids might have mentioned that we have all kinds of new things happening in here...new tables, chairs, a fun big bean bag chair, etc.
Changes in Homework
We are changing our Language Arts homework from a weekly spelling list and test to a nightly writing assignment. Since we started Poetry today, we are going to be working on spelling in our daily poetry writing. The kids might struggle a little to begin with, but hopefully they will have fun with it as they get more comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings.
Highlights from Last week

Language Arts - Finished the Iditarod study
- Math - Began Unit 8 on Area and Perimeter
