Many Hands, One Mason!!

Back-To-School Updates:
Dear Mason Families,
Happy Summer! On behalf of the entire Mason Staff, I would like to welcome you to the start of the 2019-20 school year! In just two weeks, 13 days to be exact, the school year will officially begin for everyone in the Mason Community. Our wonderful staff, is already working extremely hard to create an environment for your child(ren) that focuses on their strengths, builds a sense of community and motivates your child to reach for the stars.
Over the course of the first few weeks, our goal is to learn everything we can about our learners. The more we know about them, the better we will be able to help them reach their maximum potential. Relationships are everything to us at Mason and we firmly believe that a child must know that we care about them before any true learning can take place.
The start of the school year is always a great opportunity to talk with your child (ren) about goals, wishes, and expectations. Talking about school-related situations at home definitely gives them confidence and a sense of agency in their learning. It also shows them that you are concerned and invested in their growth as a learner. Creating a strong home to school connection is always a priority and it is highly visible when a child and their family takes time to discuss school matters at home.
As we approach, the school year, feel free to start your school routines early. Instilling the importance of being on time, having a good breakfast, reading daily and being Kind are just some of the many conversations we would love for you to have with your child over the course of the next 13 days!
Looking forward to a great year,
Roy Bishop, Jr.

Kids Club News
Below are some changes to how Kids Club will run this year. Please read carefully and call them if you have any further questions.
Parents have always signed up for specific Kids Club days in the past, however, this year parents are being asked to commit to their schedules by pre-paying for the day(s) they have registered for. This helps us maintain our state mandated ratios and to stay in compliance with the law. If a student is signed up for a specific day(s) that he or she does not attend, that day(s) will be credited to their account.
Parents are responsible to inform our office of any scheduling changes that need to happen according to their families needs. This can be done as far as one month in advance or as soon as the Friday of the week prior to the scheduling change needs, depending again on each family and their specific needs.
Please review the link below regarding our updated Kids Club policies and contact Kids Club with any questions or concerns.
