Quick updates
We are off to a great start here at St. Catharine School! Please read below for a few important updates.
Uniforms, GYM uniforms optional for all of September. During the month of September, all students may wear their gym uniforms every day to school. Starting in October, we will require our students in grades K-8 to begin wearing their warm weather uniform. (Please note, students must always wear their gym uniform on their scheduled gym day)
Morning Drop-off procedures: We are incredibly proud of our students' cooperation and good behavior during our new morning entrance procedures! As a friendly reminder to parents, please make sure to pull up in our car line all the way to the last cone to help prevent traffic build up. In addition, please make sure to stay in your car. If your child requires assistance getting out of the car, please park on another street away from our school block and walk your child to the "Carport" entrance. Thank you for your cooperation.
Lunch Service: The start of full school days means it's time to plan for lunch! Spring Lake Pizza will continue to offer our families a lunch service option. You may order and view the menu here: https://myfooddays.com/Home.aspx
First Friday Mass: First Friday Mass will LIVESTREAM for all to view on our parish website on Friday, September 18th at 9:00 AM.
Fr. Damian and our 8th grade students will lead us in prayer from St. Catharine Church for our first Mass of the 2020-2021 school year. All other grade levels will view the Mass in their homerooms. As the school year progresses, we will look to embrace alternative approaches to larger gatherings while being respectful of social distancing guidelines.
We can't MASK how HAPPY we are to see YOU!

We will never forget.
Loving God, you sent your Son as your gift of peace to the world and he remains in our hearts the peace that the world cannot give. As we remember and grieve the tragedies of September 11th, 2001, fill us with your Spirit so that we might bring your peace to a world in strife. Raise up in our memory our beloved departed who now rest in your embrace. Bless and shield from harm all those who serve and protect us. Give us courage to pursue justice for all and remind us that your harvest of righteousness is sown in peace. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
