The Plug
The Center for Identity and Inclusion
Welcome to the Center
Now that the semester is in full swing, we want you to be aware of what The Center has to offer you to ensure that your MICA experience is a success! This newsletter, " The Plug" will be published twice a semester to keep you abreast of programs, forums, workshops, mentoring network, exhibitions, and leadership opportunities, while also shining a spotlight on some of the identity-based student organizations that make up The Center's family.
The Center stands as a testament of MICA's commitment and appreciation for diversity, equity inclusion, and globalization initiatives. I encourage you to explore the many resources that are in place to ultimately help you achieve your highest potential, both inside and outside of the classroom. Stop by and see us. We look forward to meeting you!

Making study abroad a part of your education can be one of the most effective and accessible means for students to develop needed skills. It pushes a student to get out of their comfort zone to experience another culture, language, environment and education system. It teaches students to appreciate difference and diversity firsthand.
Join us for Food, Fun, & Friendship
This program targets under-resourced, underrepresented, historically marginalized student populations, to provide additional support and guidance during their first year at MICA.
