But first, Apologies . . .

Good luck, Grayce!
What is Confirmation in the Catholic Church?
Confirmation enriches the baptized with the strength of the Holy Spirit so that they can better witness to Christ in word and deed (Catechism of the Catholic Church [CCC], no. 1285). Anointed by the Holy Spirit at Confirmation, Christians strengthen their bond with the Church and become better equipped to carry out the Church’s mission of love and service. (usccb.org)
(St. Thomas Aquinas Church will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday, March 7 at 5:30pm.)
January Students of the Month
A shield provides protection to the one who bears it. Aquin Schools strive to provide each student with a shield of Responsibility, Respect, Faith, Leadership, Service, Knowledge and Character. Each month from October through April, Aquin is recognizing three students who display the month’s quality of the shield. Students are nominated by staff and faculty at both campuses and then selected by Administration. Winners are awarded a coveted 'Free Jean Day' coupon!
Faith is January's shield and Aquin Schools are proud to announce their ‘Students of the Month’ for January: Senior High--Alyssa Hunziker, Junior High--Mason McIntyre, Elementary--Antonio Vera, Jr.
If you are interested in learning more about Aquin’s ‘Guardian of the Shield’ sponsor program, or want to learn more about joining the Aquin family, please contact Laura at 815-235-3154 x 226.
