Danielson New Teacher Training

Tuscola ISD will be holding a training for new teachers that have not had training in the Danielson Framework for Teaching that is used for evaluation purposes. The training will allow participants to explore and gain an understanding of the Danielson Framework for Teaching.

Learning Targets:


  1. Identify the domains/components of the Danielson Framework for Teaching.

  2. Distinguish between the levels of performance on the Framework for Teaching.

  3. Identify pieces of evidence that may be used for the domains/components on the Framework for Teaching.

  4. Make connections between the domains on the Framework for Teaching

Training Options

Due to the circumstances this year, we are offering two training options, in person for a full day or virtually in two hour sessions.


In Person

Date: Tuesday, November 10th

Time: 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Where: Location TBD based on number of people registered (either TISD administrative office or Technology Center), communication will be sent to those registered


Virtually

Dates: Wednesday, November 11th

Wednesday, November 18th

Monday, November 23rd

Time: 4:00-6:00 p.m.

*** Participants must attend all 3 sessions to receive SCECHs

*** Participants will be sent a Google Meet link prior to the start of the first session


SCHECHs are pending approval for both the in-person and virtual sessions.

Registration

Please register for the option you will be attending by following the registration link below by Friday, November 6th. Remember if you choose virtual, you must attend all 3 sessions.
