Come and see how you can save TIME with Haiku. Learn how to use Google Forms or Haiku Assessments and reduce TIME grading papers. Join us at the Social Studies Haiku Playground on June 15th. There are two different times available: 8:30-12:00 and 12:30-4:00. Just go to My Learning Plan, log-in, and search the calendar for June 15th and "Social Studies Haiku Playground".The slots are filling up fast!

Bracketology and Other Review Materials for the NC FINAL

Last week's newsletter introduced a new review idea called Bracketology. Several teachers have tried it out and have found it to be a wonderful way to engage students while incorporating analytical skills. Review Tip of the Week


This is a great method for students to evaluate the importance of people, events, innovations, documents, etc. Simply pick 8 different things to put in the brackets and have students narrow the field. Check out this video to see how it works. And, here is a link to the template. Have fun!
