Getting into the NPA Groove
Your student should have earned 19 days. How did your student do this assignment sheet?
Assignment sheet #2 given this week has 18 days of ADA. The sample shown below is a Monday student. Please ask to see your student's new assignment sheet after the teacher meeting this week. Below is a quick tutorial video (3 minutes) on the anatomy of an assignment sheet.
As usual, NPA parents/guardians/caregivers are welcome at any student meeting. We hope this year is off to a strong academic start for your student. Let us know if you need any assistance.

Let's Talk Nevada County Presents. Suicide Prevention Town Hall
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Taking care of ourselves and others is important, particularly now when many people are feeling stressed, anxious and worried about the future. But where do you start looking for help if you or someone you know is struggling? What are some of the warning signs of suicide? What suicide prevention resources are available locally in our community and our schools? We invite community members to join local mental health and suicide prevention professionals to get answers to your questions about how to support loved ones in your life who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide.
