Counselor Appreciation - Thank you Mrs. Barron and Mrs. Henderson
Thank you to our AMAZING Counselors at HTMS. We appreciate you and how you support everyone and make us feel better!! Our counselors help students achieve success and plan for a career. They also support our students social and emotional development.
Thank you Officer Robertson
We want to recognize School Resource Officer, John Robertson. He keeps us safe and is a great resource at HTMS and throughout Springdale. He works with many students throughout HTMS and our elementary schools to talk about career options, making good decisions, and how to give back to the community. We appreciate you and your service!!!
Visit to HTMS
We were excited to have Springdale School Board Members and Dr. Cleveland, SPS Superintendent, Associate Superintendents - Dr. Smith, Mrs. Tisher, and Mrs. Fink visit and talk with HTMS students. Our HTMS Choirs performed and greeted them as they arrived with a variety of songs and of course the HTMS Fight Song. Proud of our students that shared their stories of why HTMS is a School to Watch!!
UPCOMING TESTING/EVENTS
ELPA 21 Testing
Many of our students will be taking the English Language Proficiency Assessment the week of February 15th - February 19th. Our students and teachers work each day throughout the year to prepare for the exam with a focus on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Please remind your child to get a good nights sleep and be at school each day. For students not taking the exam we will continue to focus on a variety of skills, strategies, and standards that are engaging and extend their thinking and learning.

We appreciate the Parent Teacher Student support of HTMS! Please correspond with us if you have questions or need help. WEATHER - Virtual Learning Days
Hello Families - Hope you are staying warm. We know many students have CB at home so they can continue to work through Google Classroom. For students that do not they can read, work on multiplication facts or if possible work through a cell phone.
