Carrie Madden
I have been teaching high school, college, and bridge-to-college science since 1997 - with a 5 year break to focus on our 3 *busy* children (6 and under). This is my second year at GaVS and my tenth year as a high school teacher. I am proud to be a science nerd! I enjoy the perspective I gain from new students on how they understand/approach science, and the collaboration and inspiration that evolves from assisting new instructors.

Yolanda Nigrelli
After a career in accounting I went back to school to become a Spanish teacher. I worked in a face-to-face high school for 13 years, also working at Georgia Virtual for 4 of those years. I retired from the classroom in 2010, and have been with Georgia Virtual since. This was the best career move I have ever made. I love teaching online. I am also certified in AP Spanish, and Gifted Education.
