CONSUMER NIGHTMARE

MCDONALD'S PATRON BITES OFF MORE THAT SHE CAN CHEW

Sami Neumann, 17, Senior at Batavia High School, recounts her recent horrific encounter at her Local McDonalds that leads to a small claims court case.

A regular at her local Mcdonalds location in Batavia Illinois, Sami Neumann decided to go stop at her favorite fast food restaurant to grab a Mcdouble. Everything was going normal at first.. Sami took her place in line, waited patiently, placed her order and paid. She takes her tray that holds her favorite meal, she picks the first seat she passes and sits down. It was all a blur as her hungry hands unwrap her burger and she opens her jaw to take a bite, Sami was in a state of bliss until something interrupted her routine. What happens next I’ll put into her words.. “ I found the meal to be more crunchy than it usually is. I was eating a McDouble and some fries. I decided to investigate what was so disgusting and then I uncovered a dead bug. And then to my discovery it wasn’t just one bug, but many small, quivering, disgusting, vile and absurd ants. Deathly, disgusting ants. I then decided to throw away all my food but the idea of it was too much to bear, I then vomited it all up in your bathroom, which was probably the nicest part about my whole eating experience there.” This is a direct quote of the letter Sami sent to the CEO of McDonalds, and the same letter, was also thrown in the garbage. Sami was infuriated, so she decided to take her cause to the small claims courts, where she was rewarded undisclosed compensation.

Today, Sami may be emotionally scarred, but you can find her riding around in her personal jet and dining in the finest restaurants with her “We’re sorry we served you food with ants in it” money.

To whomever it may concern,

I have been eating at the McDonalds Restaurant in downtown Batavia for many years. Usually it has satisfied enough to keep me coming back occasionally. Of course McDonald’s food is mediocre and always will be, but the last time was the last straw. I found the meal to be more crunchy than it usually is. I was eating a McDouble and some fries. I decided to investigate what was so disgusting and then I uncovered a dead bug. And then to my discovery it wasn’t just one bug, but many small, quivering, disgusting, vile and absurd ants. Deathly, disgusting ants. I then decided to throw away all my food but the idea of it was too much to bear, I then vomited it all up in your bathroom, which was probably the nicest part about my whole eating experience there.

All in all I am hoping to receive an apology for my awful eating experience that occurred on July 27, 2014. That is all I am asking for after having such a terrible eating experience, and if this is not issued I will pursue a further consequences on your company's behalf.

Thank you for your time,

Samantha Neumann
