Caughman Road Elementary School

Hour of Code

Caughman Road Elementary celebrated Computer Education Week, December 7-11, with lots of hands-on coding practice. As participants in the Hour of Code, we joined millions of students worldwide through a one-hour introduction to computer science and computer programming. Students learned to program games such as Angry Birds, MineCraft and Star Wars through the Hour of Code website. Lower Richland High School's teacher cadets joined in the fun and offered help and encouragement.

For the month of October alone our library circulated over 3400 books!

Since school began, the class with the largest circulation is Mrs. McKevitt-Johnson's with a total of 685 books checked out.
