Please share this info with your students ! ! !
Slushies are becoming a large problem. Cups and sticky surfaces everywhere were never the intent.
If we do not do a better job keeping our building clean and spill free. The Slushie Dream will soon be a thing of the past.
Inform your students in each block that you teach the importance of cleaning spills behind themselves and making sure we stay bug and pest free. Thank you for assisting with our business issue.
On the positive side of this. Our PTO has been able to fund 100% of your Holiday Staff Event from SLUSHIE proceeds. 3 of the gift cards that were award to staff at the last meeting and the surprise and random gift cards for students that are competing in the AR challenge were all funded by this project.
Thank you for allowing your students to purchase!
Thank you even more for helping us correct bad habits and making the SLUSHIE business a success rather than a thing of the past.

Ready, Set...Read and Drink a Slushie.
Our three-week challenge for all students is here and now. Each and every student is challenged to read and successfully complete two AR test per week for a total of six AR test by Dec. 19.
Every student that does so reading within his or her Lexile level with an 85 or better average will receive a coupon for a Free Slushie.
STAR Testing
Star Testing will conclude this week. All students will need to be tested by WEDNESDAY and allow Thursday and Friday to become makeup days. All support staff should be prepared to assist with giving the modification assessments in order to assure 100%. We must test all students for our district progress reports and NC Star data.
Classroom Re-Loads
ELA and Math should be using the new structures emailed out today. Social Studies and Science will be modified this week.
Anyone with questions and/or concerns need to plan to meet with me after school on Monday or Tuesday.
When students have a chromebook you have a responsibility!
Review the total number of students using the program per grade level and average score. This will help us make schoolwide and grade level goals.
