- Penalties make a criminal suffer, change, stop them from hurting other people, and help them change their lives.
Important Words
Murder- One person intentionally and without an excuse, such as self defense,kills another person.
Battery- One person, without permission, touches or harms a second person as a result.
Arson- One person intentionally and without legal excuse sets another person's building on fire.
Misdemeanor- less serious crime.
Felonies-More serious crimes.
