George Washington
During June 1775 George Washington was ordered to be the Commander of their army. At first Washington never knew how to order an army but near the end of the American Revolution he began to become very good. Washington lost more battles than he had won during the revolution. Yet he won very important battles such as the Battle of Trenton and Battle of Yorktown. After winning the American Revolutionary War he commissioned off being a Commander. He later on became the first president of the United States.

Thomas Jefferson
During the American Revolution Thomas Jefferson was a very important person. Jefferson became the founding father of the Declaration of Independents. Jefferson was also elected as the governor of Virginia. Jefferson also founded Virginia Committee of Correspondence. Thomas Jefferson was politically known. After the American Revolutionary War he became the third president of the United States.
