Georgia Elizabeth Allen

Georgie Allen is the daughter of Mitch and Jennifer Allen of Covington. She attends the Church of Covington and participated in soccer at Eastside High School for two years. She was also a member of this year’s Homecoming Court. A member of the Jasper County Junior Garden Club, she was voted Wittiest by her senior classmates. After high school, Georgie plans to go to Kennesaw State University and pursue a job in the nursing field.

Joseph Henry Anderson

Mr. Joseph Anderson is the son of Ren Anderson of Covington, Sheri Anderson and Neil Johnson also of Covington. He has been on the shotgun team for four years, played soccer for three years, and basketball for two. Joseph is member of the Beta Club, the Cougar Call newspaper staff, and was voted Most Attractive by the senior class. Joseph hopes to attend Clemson University and major in Criminal Justice.

Calvin Mack Brady

Calvin Mack Brady is the son of Traci and Scott Brady of Monticello. Selected Mr. Piedmont by his senior classmates, Mack has participated in the Jasper County Mentor Program for two years. A member of the Monticello Presbyterian Church, he belongs to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club, and National Honors Society. Mack was named to the All State Football team in 2015 and the All State Baseball team in 2016. He plans to attend the University of Georgia where he wishes to major in Sports Management.

Madison Dawn Burnham

Madison Dawn Burnham is the daughter of Carl and Stephanie Burnham of Conyers. Madisonhas played softball for four years and has been a part of the Jasper County Mentor Program for two years. She is a member of both the National Honor Society and Beta Club. A member of Milstead Baptist Church, Madison plans to attend college and major in sociology.

Dakota Brock Carter

Dakota Brock Carter is the son of David and Debra Carter of Covington. Brock has played baseball for four years and is also a member of the Beta Club. Named to both All Region and All State Baseball teams multiple times, Brock will attend North Georgia College and University on a baseball scholarship.

Brice Ronald Dodson

Brice Dodson is the son of Kim and Ronnie Dodson of Jackson. A member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, Brice has participated in the Jasper County Mentor Program for two years, FFA for three years, track for three years, Cross Country for two years, soccer for four years, and Y-Club for two years. He is senior class treasurer and was voted Most Talkative and Most School Spirited by his senior classmates. In the future Brice plans to pursue a career in the medical field.

Michael Keith Edwards Jr.

Michael Keith Edwards Jr. is the son of Stephanie and Michael Edwards of Covington. A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Michael has played football for three years and has participated in basketball, baseball, and track all four years of his high school career. Selected Most Athletic by his senior classmates, he is a member of Beta Club and has twice been named to All Region football and baseball teams. He was named to the All State baseball team last year. His future plans include playing college football, majoring in exercise science, and eventually going to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Wyatt David Galloway

Wyatt is the son of Beth and Brent Galloway of Mansfield.He has participated in FFA for six years, the Hugh O’Brien Youth for two, and Mansfield Baptist Youth Group four years. He has served as FFA chapter president, HOBY ambassador, and varsity football captain. Currently, Wyatt is enrolled in several courses at Georgia State University’s Covington campus. In the future Wyatt plans to major in mechanical engineering and become an officer in the Marine Corps through ROTC.

John Thomas Hardin

J.T. is the son of Tracy Hardin of Covington, and John Hardin of Oxford. At Piedmont J.T. has participated in One Act, tennis and soccer for one year, and has been on the robotics team all four years of his high school career. In his spare time, J.T. likes to play video games and chess, as well as watch t.v. and movies. He plans to take a year off from school after graduation, then attend Georgia State University.

MaKennah Marie Holifield

Makennah Holifield is the daughter of Jennifer and Booker Holifield of Mansfield, Georgia. She has been a member of the One Act cast for two years. She is highly involved in her church youth group at Victorious Life Church participating in mission trips, youth leadership and worship team. Makennah plans to attend a gap year with a mission team to be followed by attending Truett McConnell College and earning a degree in mission work with an emphasis in the medical field.

Ashley Susan Johnston

Ashley Johnston is the daughter of Rae and Jay Johnston of Jackson. She has been involved in softball for four years, basketball for two years, the Jasper County Mentor Program for two years, has been a baseball manager for three years, and is a member of Towaliga Baptist Church. Ashley’s accomplishments include Beta Club and National Honor Society. She was selected secretary of the senior class, as well as being named Miss Piedmont and Miss Cougar. After high school, Ashley plans to attend college and major in physical therapy.

Morgan is the daughter of Gene and Katie Johnston of Monticello. She has participated in Y-Club for three years, the Jasper County Mentor Program for two years, and attends Monticello Baptist Church. She is a member of Beta Club and National Honors Society. Morgan plans to go to college and major in accounting.

Nicholas Avery Maynard

Nicholas Avery Maynard is the son of Craig and Sheila Maynard of Covington. Nick has been a part of One Act and Literary for three years and a member of Robotics for two. He was also a part of the Cougar Call newspaper staff his senior year. Nick plans on attending Georgia College and State University or Georgia Military College and majoring in computer sciences while pursuing a degree in Informational Technology at a hospital.

Cheyenne Leigh Miller

Cheyenne is the daughter of Lisa and Wendell Miller of Covington. Cheyenne is a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Yearbook. She was voted Most Likely to Suceed by her fellow seniors. She is very active in the barrel racing arena winning numerous awards and championships. She is currently enrolled in several college courses at Georgia State University’s campus in Covington

Christopher McClain is the son of Linda and Jerome McClain of Monticello. He has been involved in Literary for four years, Beta Club for four years, and varsity football for four years. Chris’s awards include Senior Class President and 1st place in Extemporaneous Speaking in 2015 and 2016. After high school, Chris plans to attend college and major in Criminal Justice or Pre-Law.

Tyler Mills is the son of Kim McKee of Land ‘o Lakes Florida and Dennis Mills of Newborn. Tyler has played baseball forall four years of his high school career and football for two years. Selected Most Likely to Succeed by his senior classmates, he is a part of the Jasper County Mentor Program. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club. Tyler plans to attend college and major in mechanical engineering.

Maddie Mooneyham is the daughter of Kathy Mooneyham and Marshall Mooneyham of Monticello. She has been in One Act Play for three years, played soccer for four years, has been a yearbook photographer for two years, and has been in robotics for two years. She has also been part of Beta Club, and has been a lifeguard at Smyrna Presbyterian Church in Conyers for two years. Selected Most Talented by her senior classmates, Maddie plans to go to University of North Georgia to become an ophthalmologist.

Daniel Richard Ramsdell III

Danny Ramsdell is the son of Mary Elizabeth Ramsdell and Daniel Richard Ramsdell of Monticello. He has been in One Act Play for five years, Literary team for three years, and debate for four years. He is the International Extemporaneous Speaking State champion and has won multiple speaking awards at GISA and GHSA debate tournaments. He was also a part of the 2015 state champion One Act play cast. Danny plans to attend Georgia State University where he will major in political science and English education.

Elizabeth Grace Roberts

Elizabeth Grace Roberts is the daughter of Kim and Dan Roberts of Monticello. A member of Beta Club, she has been a cheerleader all four of her high school years, and was selected to model for Jovani and Faviana for the past two years. She is on the All A’s Headmaster’s List, and was also selected the mascot for the senior class as a kindergartener. Chosen Most Attractive by her senior classmates, she has also won numerous academic awards for her coursework at PAC. Grace plans to attend Georgia College and State University and major in mass communication with a minor in creative writing.

Zachary Lane Sanders

Zachary Sanders is the son of Jennifer and Lane Sanders of Jackson. Zachary has been a member of PAC’s golf and basketball teams for two years and the Clay Crushing Cougars shotgun team for all four years of high school. He was awarded The Coach’s Award as a sophomore and Highest Overall Shooter Award in Sporting and Trap Shooting in both his 10th and 11th grade years. A member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Zachary has particpated in the Brookline Top Shots Scholastic Clay and Target Program winning numerous awards in competitve shooting contests around the United States.

Jay Sheets is the son of Joey and Cheryl Sheets of McDonough. He has been involved in football and baseball for two years at Piedmont. Jay’s awards include being named to the All Region baseball team, state and region championships in baseball, and a region championship in football. He plans to attend Georgia State College and University and major in nursing.

Benjamin Dale Smith

Ben Smith is the son of Crystal and Kevin Smith of Monticello. He has been a Sunshine League volunteer for three years, a member of HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) for three years, and a Samaritan’s Purse volunteer for three years. Ben has won the Presidential Award for Academics three times, the High School Football Athletic Award three times, and has been on his school’s Honor Rolls for eight years. He plans to attend Mercer University and major in dentistry.

Taylor Madison Suttles

Taylor Madison Suttles is the daughter of April and Billy Suttles of Covington. She is a member of Bethlehem Baptist Tabernacle Church and has been a part of the yearbook committee for three years and a cheerleader for two years. She had the highest math average and was named to the Honor Roll in 10th grade. Madison plans to attend Georgia College and State University.

William Mack Tillman

Will Tillman is the son of Tom and Anita Tillman of Monticello. He has been involved in Literary and One Act for all four years of high school. He has participated in Humorous Interpretation winning a Literary State Championship. In One Act play competition, Will was part of a State Championship cast and received the One Act Play Region Outstanding Performance Award. He was chosen Most Talented by his senior classmates. Will plans to attend Valdosta State University and major in foreign language.

Preston Thomas Tyler

Preston Thomas Tyler is the son of Jacki and Donald Tyler of Monticello. He has been involved in FFA and is a part of both the shotgun and golf teams. Preston serves as treasurer of the FFA and won the Star State Degree Award and Central Region Proficiency Award. A winner of the Golf Teammate Award, Preston’s future plan is to attend college at the College of Coastal Georgia.

Lacey Marie Vaughn

Lacey Vaughn is the daughter of Phillip and Michelle Vaughn of Jackson. Lacey participates in Work Study, working at Vaughn Construction. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dogs, going to the beach, watching movies, and drinking coffee. She plans to attend Georgia Southern University where she wishes to major in Early Childhood education.

Bailyn Cambrie Whitaker is the daughter of Tami and David Whitaker of Jackson. She has been involved in FFA, FCA, track, tennis, and cheerleading during her high school career. A Jasper County Humane Society volunteer, Bailyn was chosen Most Athletic by her classmates, as well as being chosen Homecoming queen by the PAC student body. Bailyn plans to attend college to earn a degree in dentistry.
