May's Boomerang Award
This youth recognition award was created to recognize students in the Central Bucks School District for living by one of the 40 Assets, designated monthly. The 40 Developmental Assets (www.search-institute.org) are positive experiences, behaviors, and personal qualities that all youth need to possess in order to be responsible, caring, and strong in the face of peer pressures and other life challenges.
May Boomerang Asset: #40 Positive View of Personal Future. Young person is optimistic about his or her own future and strives to reach his/her goals. Have hopes, dreams, enthusiasm and plans. He/she demonstrates strong efforts to achieve their goals, whatever they might be.
Spring Clothing Drive
This year's Spring Clothing Drive will be held on Monday, May 13th through Friday morning, May 17th. All clothing, accessories, household items made of fabric, shoes, stuffed animals and plastic toys no longer than 24"x24" can be dropped off on the stage. Please bag shoes separately.

Domestic Violence Awareness Workshop
The Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership (BCHIP) will be hosting a Domestic Awareness Violence Evening Workshop on Wednesday, May 22nd. The evening program will feature four outstanding speakers at the Bucks County Community College.

Field Day Volunteers Needed
Field Day will take place on Friday, June 7th. We are in need of parent volunteers to assist with various activities throughout the day.
