Bus Transportation
Student Transportation Request Form
In preparation for the 2018-2019 school year, the Anderson School District Five Transportation Services is requiring that ALL (new & returning) bus riders complete a Student Transportation Request Form to ensure that your child is routed and assigned to the closest bus stop available. Failure to complete this form for any student may result in delayed transportation eligibility and ridership.
Transportation forms received after July 31st, will be processed in the order in which they were received by the Transportation Office.
Registration Gateway
Letters with Registration Gateway log-in credentials have been mailed, and re-enrollment for returning students is now open. Registration (for new AND returning students,) is to be completed by the first day of school, AUGUST 20. All students must begin the registration process by using Registration Gateway, the district's secure, online registration system. Please use this link for instructions on how to get started!
We are the home of the RAMS!
Our School Logo is changing! All schools that feed into Westside High School will now have the RAM logo and Mascot. The district will start rebranding our school in the upcoming school year. We already have new directional signs outside of the school!

Technology Fee
Anderson School District 5 is proud to be a 1 to 1 District in grades 1st- 12th. This year the district will introduce a $20 technology fee. This fee will be charged to all students from Kindergarten through grade 12. The technology fee will go towards computer repairs and maintenance.
NPES House System
Houses
Our students and staff are divided into four Houses.
Joyeux -Joyful
Esperanza -Hope/hopeful
Tuwohofo - Advise or lead oneself
Simba -the powerful
How does it work?
Students earn points for displaying characteristics of our Elite Eight Essentials. The points are calculated each month and one house earns the House of the Month! That house is rewarded with a celebration each month. We also have house meetings, a house council and team building opportunities.
NPES Elite Eight Essentials
The New Prospect Elementary Positive behavior system is centered around Ron Clark's Essential 55 book and House System.
Essential 1: Always be honest.
Essential 2: When someone greets you, politely greet them back.
Essential 3: When asked a question, answer politely in a complete sentence.
Essential 4: Do not exclude anyone; treat one another with respect and kindness.
Essential 5: Do not show disrespect to anyone through your words or actions.
Essential 6: If any student in this school is bothering you, tell an adult.
Essential 7: If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, do not show anger.
Essential 8: Be the best person you can be.
