But I'm not a Literacy Teacher!
Teaching literacy and the CC across content areas
Come spend the day collaborating with colleagues...
... to identify specific comprehension strategies you can use to help students meet the standards!
Common Core State Standards are designed so that all teachers help students develop their literacy skills. Most certified teachers never had to take a reading or writing course in their professional preparation, although many teachers are already teaching literacy in their classes.
Middle (and high school) level teachers have an advantage making sure their students meet the standards if there is an effective team model in place.
Lyn Healy presents this wonderful workshop: Meet the Presenter!
