When classroom teachers use technology to introduce, reinforce, extend, enrich, assess, and remediate student mastery of curricular targets.


In 2011, the Nellie Mae Foundation conducted a study and results indicated that 43% of students feel unprepared to use technology as they look ahead to higher education or their work life.

A study done by the National Center for Education Statistics showed that only 23% of teachers felt prepared to integrate technology into the classroom.
