Students Attend Science Workshop at RCC
Eighth grade students from Carver Middle School were invited to attend an event hosted by Richmond Community College and BioNetwork. Students participated in EASE, Effective & Authentic Science Events. Students completed a series of forensic science labs to test evidence found during the investigation of a missing person. Labs included dark fiber analysis using electrophoresis, blood type analysis, ink chromatography, tread analysis, and chemical analysis of white powder. This was such a great opportunity for our students and we are thankful they had the opportunity to participate in such an amazing event.
