Great African-American Scientist and Inventors
The 5th Graders did an Amazing Performance on Friday, February 24th. Students learned about African-American Scientists and Inventors and how they contributed to our society.
March Madness
We are having grade-level competitions to motivate students to read. Stats are posted on the LMC windows on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The class with the most words read by March 30th will receive a class reward. Keep reading!

Throughout the month of March, we commemorate and encourage the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.

Art Contest
The San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District is proud to present its 'Water is Life' art contest. This contest encourages students to think about water and make something tangible to show their appreciation of water. The theme for the contest this year is “Being Water Wise Is…” "Water is Life" is an annual art contest that encourages students to express the value of water through their artwork. Through their art, students remind us to consider the importance of water in our lives and think about the sustainability of our future water supply.
