Homework will be sent home in a packet every Friday. Students must return the completed packet the following Friday (one week later). In addition, there will be reading assignments every night of the week and one spelling list per week.
If a student is absent on the Friday a homework packet is given, they will receive the packet on the day they return and will be expected to complete it one week from the day they received the homework.
This Year...
Over the course of the year your student will learn more about adding and subtracting, regrouping, place value, skip counting, and more! They will also learn to write narratives and informative/expository writings. They will do science investigations on plants and animals, and learn about their community.
