Heroes Memorial Climb

Honoring Retired Firefighter/Paramedic from Lewisville, TX

Andy Allison, 31, is a Retired Firefighter/Paramedic from the Lewisville, TX Fire Department. Two years ago, Andy was electrocuted while on duty fighting a house fire. Despite multiple surgeries and working hard to return to work, Andy is unable to return to full duty. The fire service is losing a dedicated public servant and Andy has a wife and young son that will now be dealing with a loss of his salary and the addition of other expenses due to his injuries. The Heroes Memorial Climb has designated Andy as our fire beneficiary for 2015. He should not have to bear these issues alone. Andy gave selflessly serving the public in their time of need. Donating to Andy and his family is a chance to reciprocate. It is without a doubt that we know he would do it again.

This stair climb will challenge you.

Heroes in Action encourages you to join your friends and family in this challenging event. For those competitive souls, Heroes in Action offers a competitive timed wave during this event. If you’re a public safety official or armed forces member, who has lost a brother or sister in the line of duty—we would like to help memorialize their efforts by offering a memorial wave spot.

Whether you compete against yourself or colleagues, this event is going challenge you to do your best. If you are here to memorialize a loved one, we are here to support you and remember him or her with you. All waves are open for registration at www.goheroes.org. Space is limited, so create a team and register early.

To celebrate your successful completion of the event, Heroes In Action invites you to join us for food, entertainment and climb gear after the climb. Meet the all-volunteer team behind Heroes in Action.
