Kingdom Kids

Shared Leadership Opportunity

It may sound CORNY...

but children's ministry truly cannot function without you! Working together toward a common goal makes serving more rewarding for everyone. Kingdom Kids is now looking to build an even stronger foundation by putting additional volunteer support persons in place to share leadership of each department.

We would like YOU to consider serving in this role. The structure is in place, the schedule is set, and now it's time to really GROW and IMPROVE the way we serve the children, their families, and each other!

It's all about TEAMWORK!

How strange a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. 1 Corinthians 12: 19-20, 26

Department Teams

Kingdom Kids has been organized into four departments that are currently comprised of two classes each. Having a representative from each of the three services to act as team leaders will allow for an improvement in ministry effectiveness.

  • Nursery - Birth through Age 2
  • Preschool - Age 2 through Age 4
  • Primary - PreK through Grade 2
  • Intermediate - Grade 3 through Grade 6

Team Leader Responsibilites

The goal is to have three team leaders in place for each department (one from each service) with service term of one school year. By sharing in leadership tasks, no one should feels as though they are stretched too thin. As a co-leader, you will need to:

  • Know and pray for team members

  • Act as first contact for team members

  • Communicate regularly with children’s ministry leadership

  • Help to recruit team members as needed

  • Train new team members

  • Conduct occasional team meetings

PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT being asked to attend every service, cover all the classes whenever someone is absent, or spend hours of your time managing everything! You are being asked to commit a few hours per month to make Kingdom Kids even better!
