FILL THE BUS/EMPTY STOCKING SEASONS OF SHARING DRIVE, DEC 1 -7
Humble ISD has partnered with Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) to help make the holidays brighter for students in need this holiday season through the Empty Stocking Seasons of Sharing Drive. You can help Humble ISD Athletics and Fine Arts students "Fill the Bus" by donating an unwrapped toy to a secondary campus between December 1 and December 7 or donating online by December 7 to help provide food for a holiday dinner for a family in need.
SCHS PRESENTS INTO THE WOODS, STARTING DEC 1
SC Playhouse presents Into the Woods December 1 & 2 and 14 & 15 in the SCHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 students, $15 adults, and free for Humble ISD staff. Tickets and more information at scplayhouse.org.

KPHS SILVER STARS HOLIDAY CLINIC & SHOWCASE, DEC 2
Boys & girls of all ages are invited to a KPHS Silver Star Holiday Dance Clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, at Kingwood Park High School. Learn a holiday dance or martial arts, create holiday crafts and take pictures with Santa. There will be a Holiday Showcase at 2 p.m. of all dances, martial arts, KMS and our Silver Stars! CITY OF HUMBLE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE OF LIGHTS, DEC 5
The 32nd Annual City of Humble Christmas Parade of Lights is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 6:30pm and will be held on historic Main Street in Humble. This year’s theme is The Nutcracker. Join us for a magical night featuring performances by Humble ISD students, floats, and more.

Budgeting Holiday Stress: Thursday, December 7, 2023/ 6-7 p.m. / Webinar
Mental health can affect anyone regardless of age, gender or background. In this workshop, we will raise awareness of mental health crises. You will receive information about warning signs, risk factors, and resources to navigate a mental health crisis. Register for the Budgeting Holiday Stress Session
KHS & KPHS PRESENTS SANTA'S FARM, DEC 8
Kingwood High School and Kingwood Park High School FFA presents Santa's Farm from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 8, at the Humble ISD North Agricultural Science Center. There will be FFA livestock, fun activities, food trucks, craft vendors, Santa, and more! Admission is free, but please bring canned food items to donate. Parking is at KPHS with a free shuttle to the barn.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA, DEC 19
The Summer Creek Starlettes present Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, at Summer Creek High School. Join the Starlettes for a jolly morning of pancakes, games, crafts, pictures, and holiday fun with Santa!

STUDENT ATHLETIC TRAINERS
Humble ISD offers students opportunities to take their learning beyond the four walls of a classroom. Student athletic trainers get hands-on experience while learning about health-related careers. In November's “Inspiring Moment,” we meet current students and Humble ISD graduates who have benefitted from being student athletic trainers. Watch this month's Inspiring Moments video.
DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD NOMINATIONS OPEN NOW
The Humble ISD Education Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Humble ISD Distinguished Alumni Award. If you know of a Humble ISD alumnus who graduated at least 25 years ago and is deserving to be recognized, nominate them today by visiting the Education Foundation Distinguished Alumni page. Nominations will close on January 15, 2024
INNOVATIVE EDUCATION GRANT APPLICATION NOW OPEN
The Humble ISD Education Foundation funds innovative and creative projects that enrich student learning experiences. IE grants are awarded to teachers, programs, and departments across the district.
Visit the Education Foundation website for information on the application process, resource videos, and grant writing workshops. The district-wide grant writing workshops provide tips on how to develop a winning grant proposal. Register for an upcoming IE Grants Workshop today. Submit your application before 11:59 PM on Monday, February 19, 2024.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE BY THE YMCA
The YMCA After School Program makes the most of your child's after school time by offering active learning opportunities designed to engage and expand young minds. After school care is offered Monday through Friday from school dismissal through 6:30 p.m. at all Humble ISD elementary schools.
