Raymond Park
Ranger News: Week of April 13, 2020
From the Principal
Ranger Patrons,
It was good to see so many Ranger faces at Friday's device distribution at RP! If you missed the opportunity to pick-up a Chromebook, a second opportunity at Raymond Park has been scheduled for this Wednesday, 5pm-7pm. Device pick-up will occur curbside at entrance #1 using the same process and traffic flow described in last week's Device Distribution Information newsletter. If Wednesday is not convenient, a device may also be obtained during any weekday this week at Warren Central High School between 11am and 1pm at door #70.
Learn at Home activities are scheduled to begin Monday. Information designed to help our students be successful including access to the site where lessons will be posted and a troubleshooting hotline can be found in the Overview of Warren's Learn at Home plan.
The Ranger staff has been busy preparing for the launch of Learning at Home. Ranger students will be receiving invitations to video conference with 1st block and CORE Connect teachers using the virtual conferencing platform Zoom. Administrators and counselors will also be checking in with students to help re-engage students in the teaching and learning process.
This has been a difficult time for all of us. The emotion, stress, and anxiety that come with the uncertainty of the situation we find ourselves in can be challenging. The Ranger staff has worked hard to create plans to keep your students engaged in the education process while reducing the stress on you and your family. Thank you in advance for supporting your students with the learning ahead and partnering with RP to make the most of this school year. Please don't hesitate to reach out to counselors and grade level administrators with questions or needs for additional support. The contact information at the bottom of this newsletter has been updated to reflect Learn at Home access.
