Boston Marathon Bombing

April 15th, 2013

Perspective from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

when Tsarnaev was captured, he wrote that him and his brother set off bombs to get revenge on American citizens for killing innocent Muslims in American-led wars. Tsarnaev later apologized in court for killing and injuring so many people that day and took full responsibility for his actions. He wanted families to know it was him and his brother who killed and injured all of those Americans on April 15th, 2013.

Cassandra Arsenault

Cassandra Arsenault was running in the Boston Marathon on April 15th when the bombs went off. She said it was just terrifying. She wasn't with her family and she couldn't call anyone because the phone lines were jammed up. Arsenault said her and the other runners had no clue what to do. It was terror for all.
