Warrior News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
February 28, 2020
Hey Warrior Nation,
What a week! Yet again our Warriors were out and about around the state competing successfully in countless academic and athletic events. Please be sure to check out our celebrations below to see some of the many highlights. There is so much to be proud of!
Along those same lines, we are excited about our upcoming Junior ACT Day on Tuesday, March 3rd. This state-required testing date is a great chance for our Warriors to demonstrate the outstanding learning they have experienced throughout their journey here at the Muskego-Norway School District. Encourage your Juniors to get a good night's rest and please have them eat a good breakfast on the day of testing. Additionally, make sure to tell them to take a deep breath, relax, and be confident! Our students have been extremely well prepared, they are ready, and they are far more than just a test score.
As a reminder, all other students, current 9th, 10th, and 12th graders, will have virtual learning opportunities provided to them on Tuesday. Our teachers will be explaining the requirements directly to all students during classes on Monday. Again, we want to be sure that this important day of learning is impactful for all of our students so please help remind them that Tuesday is not just a day off.
Thank you for your amazing support and partnership!
Have an awesome day and GO WARRIORS!

- Reminder: The ACT will be given to ALL Juniors, on Tuesday, March 3rd. Only Juniors will be in attendance on this day. Busses will be running. The ACT Test Day is a big deal! It is a one-time opportunity to take the ACT for FREE and is a key piece of your child's application process to college, technical school, and more.
- Students who receive a "qualifying score" on the ACT do not need to take the Accuplacer Test, which is required by all Technical Colleges for entry. For students heading on a workforce pathway, some local Unions use the ACT sub scores as part of the entry process to join a Union.
- Here is the link to Information for Examinees . It contains test preparation resources, including ACT Academy, a practice test, and information about what to expect on test day.
Good luck, Warriors! You will do GREAT!

Support MHS Best Buddies Friendship Walk
Muskego Best Buddies works hard to spread inclusion throughout our community and everyday school life. We work to pair an individual with IDD with another peer at Muskego High School. This one-on-one friendship can lead to long lasting memories for both individuals. We do SO MANY cool events throughout the year like sensory friendly dances, trick-or-treating, a hayride, an end of the year picnic, and more! Support this great group and join us and/or donate to our team page this year for the annual Friendship Walk! Help us spread inclusion and let's "Walk and Roll"!
