Welcome to the New Digital Newsletter
Every week, you can expect an emailed newsletter with updates and announcements. Why call it The Maxfield Pride Bulletin? Well, as students, educators, and families we are proud to be members of this special school community. A community that is in it's 131 year of serving the children of Rondo. We take great pride in what we do here and what better way to just come out and say it? We all have Maxfield Pride!

Parent Pick Up for In-Person Learning
Remember to use our new parent pick lane up along St. Anthony Ave. Each child took home a placard with their name and class on it. Please bring that with you to pick up your child. It will help us create a more efficient process. If you lost it, just let us know and we will get you a new one!
If your child's dismissal plans change (getting picked up instead of taking the bus) please contact the office by 1:00pm so we can notify the teacher. This is so important as it will help us make sure your child gets to the right spot for dismissal.
Winter Weather
It is no secret that Minnesota winters can get dangerously cold. That is why it is so important to make sure your child comes to school with a winter coat, snow pants, boots, hat and mittens. We will go outside for recess everyday that the windchill temperature is zero degrees or above. Please let your teacher know if you need support in getting winter gear for your child.
You can see more information about Saint Paul Public School's winter weather plan at this link.
Virtual Learning School Updates
Families - please help remind your students of when they need to be on-line for their synchronous (same time) meetings with their teacher.
If at any time you wish to transition between Virtual Learning School and in-person learning, please contact the student placement office at spc@spps.org or calling them at 651-632-3760.
Family Visits
Due to COVID restrictions, we are unable to have families meet in person in the building at this time. If you would like to meet to discuss any supports for your child, do not hesitate to reach out to your teacher and we can set up an online meeting. If you prefer to meet in person, let us know and we can arrange a socially distanced and masked meeting outside (weather permitting of course!).

Title One Information
Title One refers to federal dollars that help support students to raise achievement. There are several documents that are created to give information about supporting learning at Maxfield and all schools that receive Title One funds. You can see access these documents at the links below, on our website or with paper copies at school. These are the same documents that were shared at the School Orientation and Title One meeting earlier in the year. Translated materials are available upon request.
