Global Warming
Promoting Awareness
What causes Global warming???
Global warming is caused by two things. These two things are human activities and the sun's magnetic field that has doubled over the last century and effects the earth's climate.
These are some pictures explaining how global warming is caused by human activities
Factories
When factories are making things or burning things, smoke rises and goes out of the tubes at the top or side of the factory buildings. This smoke will then rise into the sky and just stick there in the atmosphere. This is a factor that heats up our world.
Wild fires
Wild fires are a cause of global warming, because all the smoke from the fire burning all the trees and grass just rises into the atmosphere. This then causes the earth to warm also.
Volcanoes
When volcanoes erupt, they let out so much stuff from inside the volcano. They usually give off a lot of gases A lot of these gases are pretty harmful for our atmosphere. They rise into the sky/atmosphere and they will too raise the temperature of the air which then later causes global warming.
Preventing the release of greenhouse gases
Preventing the release of greenhouse gases COULD help our earth stop warming up little by little, which is caused global warming. There are things EVERYBODY could do! They don't have to be big things; just a little thing could make a big difference.
Having less kids
Having less kids is one way to help releasing greenhouse gases. This helps, because if you have fewer kids, its less people who will one day drive a car or have to heat a home.
Reduce your heating
To reduce heat in your house, you could use more insulation or weather proof your home. This could help, because it will cut how much cooling and heating you use, which then cuts down on the money you spend for it and you don't use as much energy!
Charge batteries
Instead of throwing away batteries, you can charge them! This seems like a really easy way to prevent the release of greenhouse gases. This would help, because then you wouldn't have to go and buy more batteries. You would already have some at home that just need to be charged.
